We had a very unfortunate incident with a site prep company cutting major roots of a mature tree and we needed immediate assessment of what to do. John, and his team at Rick’s Tree Care, responded quickly and provided a professional report. Unfortunately, for safety reasons the tree will need to be removed. The company that caused the damage, appears to be
responding responsibly, and we hope they will cover the cost and never do this again. Our thanks to John and everyone at Rick’s for being so helpful, understanding, and professional.

John is very good to work with -- knowledgeable and professional. Worked with the Beech tree and Beach leaf disease.

I recently noticed that my beech trees were losing leaves, and the ones that remained were brown and curled up. So Rick's trees came out quickly, provided a very clear, concise reason for the problem, and provided an immediate quote which seemed reasonable. They came out quickly and performed the service without disruption While I don't know yet, whether the treatment will be successful, based on their experience with similar customers, I have no doubt that I will continue with this service in the future. If you have damaged trees, I would give them a call.

I found Rick’s Certified Arborists online and called them for an inspection — they were able to fit me in quickly. John was the arborist who came out, and he was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and thorough in answering all my questions. They’ll also be helping me with tree selection for an upcoming planting, making sure the species we choose are viable and disease-resistant for the site. I can’t recommend them enough based on my experience!

We used Ricks Certified Arborists to fix a scale problem with multiple trees on our property. They laid out a plan to service the trees in multiple steps starting last summer into the Spring. It was simple, safe, and easy to follow. Thanks!

We have been using Rick’s for several years now. Our trees look the best they have in over a decade, wish I started using Rick’s sooner.

We've been using Rick's for many years and they've taken great care of our many trees and bushes. Highly recommend if you're having insect or other issues with your plants. They have great communication and are reasonably priced.

We moved into an over 55 community almost 10 years ago. Trees, both planted by the builder and ones we added and paid good money to be installed were not properly planted and after a couple of years were on the verge of dying. We called Rick’s and have been using him for the last 8 years. Our trees have become full and healthy and promise to be here long after we are not. We highly recommend his service. He is responsive and flexible with treatment programs.

Knowledgeable, focused, supportive of the customer. The entire staff (from arborists, techs, and office support) works steadily, clearly communicates what they’re doing and why. Cherry, red maple, and silver birch are being treated (root injection and fungal spray) while recommendations have been provided for a cherry plum with black knot as well as pruning tips for a variety of shrubs on our one acre property in Coatesville. The service has a cost but I’m happy to recommend Rick’s Certified Arborists to those seriously interested in managing the wellbeing of their trees.

Rick’s certified arborists are doing a great job of keeping my trees healthy. They have treated my Magnolia and Redbud for scale, Pear trees for rust/fire blight, Schip Laurels for Cherry shothole, Dogwood for foliar fungal disease and Blue Spruces for mites and needlecast. I am very happy with the results.
